Now, with a fiberglass idol of Maa Saraswati, immersion is no longer required. Similar to Durga Puja in Probashe, this idol is carefully wrapped and stored for the next year, allowing us to preserve her presence until then.

'নিখোঁজ' - কাহিনীর সূত্রপাতেই (সিজন ১ ) লালবাজারের ডি সি পি বৃন্দা বসুর জীবনে এক দুঃস্বপ্নের ঘটনা ঘটে যায় -তার মেয়ে দিতির ‘নিখোঁজ’ রহস্য। এ রহস্যে জড়িয়ে পড়ে সনামধন্য সংবাদ সঞ্চালক রমিত সেনের (টোটা রায় চৌধুরী) নাম ।

ঘটনার দিন দিতি এক বন্ধুর জন্মদিনের পার্টি তে নিমন্ত্রিত ছিল । পার্টি শেষে রমিতকে মাদকাসক্ত, রক্তাক্ত ও অচেতন অবস্থায় দক্ষিণ কলকাতার রাস্তায়  তার গাড়ি থেকে গ্রেপ্তার করা হয়। তদন্তে নেমে বৃন্দা জানতে পারেন, সেই রাতে পার্টিতে দিতি, রমিত ছাড়াও তাদের কয়েকজন বন্ধুও উপস্থিত ছিল।

প্রশ্ন ওঠে, এই ঘটনার আসল অপরাধী কে? তদন্তের স্বার্থে বৃন্দা সাহায্য নেন প্রাক্তন এনকাউন্টার স্পেশালিস্ট অনন্ত সেনের (রজতাভ দত্ত)।

চিত্রনাট্য ও পরিচালনা

৮টি পর্বে সাজানো এই থ্রিলার একদিকে যেমন দর্শকের আগ্রহ ধরে রাখতে সফল, অন্যদিকে কিছু জায়গায় একটু বেশি টানতে গিয়েই ছন্দপতন ঘটেছে। বৃন্দার নিজের মেয়ের মামলার তদন্ত একটি বিরল ঘটনা হলে ও  পরিচালক অয়ন চক্রবর্তী দক্ষতার সাথে গল্প বলার ক্ষমতা ধরে রেখেছেন ।

সংলাপ তীক্ষ্ণ, তবে ধীরগতির গল্প মাঝেমধ্যে ধৈর্যের পরীক্ষা নেয়। বিশেষত, বৃন্দা ও বিকাশ সামন্তের (লোকনাথ দে) মুখোমুখি দৃশ্যগুলি অত্যন্ত আকর্ষণীয়।

অভিনয়শৈলী

• স্বস্তিকা মুখোপাধ্যায় (বৃন্দা বসু), তার চরিত্রে মিশে গিয়ে প্রতিটি আবেগকে নিখুঁতভাবে ফুটিয়ে তুলেছেন। একজন মায়ের দুর্বলতা এবং একজন পুলিশের দৃঢ়তাকে একসাথে উপস্থাপন করা সত্যি প্রশংসনীয় ।
• প্রথম থেকেই সাওলি চট্টোপাধ্যায় তার চরিত্রে দুর্দান্ত সহায়তা করেছেন।
• টোটা রায় চৌধুরী (রমিত সেন), চরিত্রটি জটিল, এবং প্রথম দিকে কিছুটা একঘেয়েমি লাগলেও, শেষের দিকে বেশ চমক এনেছেন।
• রজতাভ দত্ত (অনন্ত সেন), চরিত্রটি আরো বেশি স্ক্রিনটাইম দাবি করে। তবুও তার উপস্থিতি নজর কেড়েছে।
• লোকনাথ দে , সামন্তের ভূমিকায় মুগ্ধ করলেও স্তরযুক্ত পুলিশ অফিসারের সাধারণ চরিত্রে তার প্রতিভা কিছুটা সীমাবদ্ধ মনে হয়েছে। দর্শকদের হৃদয়ে জায়গা করে নিতে তার উচিত অন্যধরনের চরিত্রে অভিনয় করা।
• পার্শ্বচরিত্রদের অভিনয়ে কোথাও কোথাও খামতি রয়ে গেছে, যা মূল কাহিনীর শক্তি কিছুটা কমিয়ে দেয়।

পরিশেষে,

'নিখোঁজ ২' কেবলমাত্র একটি টানটান রহস্য থ্রিলার নয়, এটি একটি সমাজ সচেতন বার্তা বহন করে। সিরিজটির চিত্রনাট্যে কিছু জায়গায় ঘাটতি থাকলেও, প্রধান চরিত্রগুলির অভিনয় সেই সীমাবদ্ধতাগুলি পূরণ করে দিয়েছে। বিশেষত, স্বস্তিকা মুখোপাধ্যায়ের শক্তিশালী অভিনয় এবং বৃন্দা বসুর চরিত্রের সাহসী লড়াই কাহিনীতে প্রাণ সঞ্চার করেছে।

সিরিজটির মূল আবেদন হলো একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বার্তা—সমাজে কিছু পুরুষের অসুস্থ মানসিকতার জন্য গোটা পুরুষ সমাজকে ভুল দৃষ্টিতে বিচার করা ঠিক নয়। এমন প্রবণতা কেবল লিঙ্গ বৈষম্যকে বাড়িয়ে তোলে এবং নিরীহদের জীবনে অযথা গ্লানি  নিয়ে আসে।

এই সিরিজ আমাদের সকলকে স্মরণ করিয়ে দেয় যে, প্রকৃত অপরাধীদের শাস্তি নিশ্চিত করতে হবে, তবে তা করতে গিয়ে গোটা সমাজ বা একটি নির্দিষ্ট লিঙ্গকে দোষারোপ করা কখনোই সঠিক রাস্তা  নয়।

সর্বশেষে, ‘নিখোঁজ ২’ শুধুমাত্র বিনোদনের মধ্য দিয়ে নয়, একটি মানবিক ও সামাজিক বার্তা দিয়েও দর্শকদের মনকে নাড়া দিতে সক্ষম।
